Ideally, I'd like to be able to 'Cancel' an event, which would drop any associated rooms and resources, but would retain all remaining information such as event name, contacts, description, time(s)/date(s), etc. Currently, we can delete an event, which erases all data, or just manually edit it to remove rooms/resources. Cancelling events in this manner is useful for assessment purposes, primarily to monitor the number of event requests a particular department or building receives. A function to do that with one click would save time.
